The BIG Watch Company (Big Watch) is about a passion for watches. The founder, Rob Murdoch, established Big Watch in 2007 for 3 main reasons:

• To look at the history of watch brands. One of the things he found fascinating about watches, especially military, is how and why a brand came about and the quality and passion with which they are designed and built.
• To look at watches that "he" thinks are cool, unique and worth owning. Rob's own collection is very eclectic, and building. His definition of a cool watch may range from the Seiko Orange Monster, to something by Panerai, or even the IWC Portuguese. The selection of watches that we source adds diversity and brings to you, our client, a selection of brands and styles you would not normally have access to or even be aware of such as Laco, GV2 and Quadtech. We also keep an eye on the key fashion and technology trends.
• We try to source watches that mainly range from £100 to £2000 (although we do have a few above the £3,000 barrier). Our aim is to look at watches that are less readily available & therefore a little more unique, but are of good quality & good value. Our view is that our customers want to wear a watch that suits their needs, mood or fashion for a day; we believe you should have a choice and be able wear a watch that is a little different to the main stream but something that works with your own style.
