In 2004 an experiment was undertaken to meld polycarbonate and steel, two materials renowned for their remarkable strength, in the construction of a timepiece - something completely new to the watchmaking industry. A mechanical movement was then added to provide this tough object with a beating heart.

It was in that very moment that 3H ITALIA was born, partnering this innovation of materials with the talent of famous Italian designers. The watch lay before them with its unique personality and strong technological characteristics, such as its highly scratch-resistant casing, day and night visibility and its waterproof pressurised backing - the basic set of feature for the first "Oceandiver" watch.

Today the company has grown extensively. The headquarters in Viterbo (about 50 miles north of Rome) now covers almost 1,000 square meters as a large sorting and assemblage center. Since 2007, participating in the most important international watch exhibition in Basel, the company has successfully extended its distribution in Countries such as United States, Canada, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, the Netherlands, the Scandinavian Peninsula, Hong Kong, and Portugal, marking its presence in the window displays of the best specialized watch sellers.

Presently, the Oceandiver has gained celebrity status, thanks to many Italian VIPs wearing it without our knowledge; the esteemed soccer player Guti and team coach Mr. Spalletti, the singers Shaggy and Renato Zero.
