Ceramic Watches

Ceramic for Fashion

Very cool and very fashionable, especially for woman who want to wear a watch that makes them feel good and sets them apart. There is a UK business woman who has set up a very successful and high end online fashion retail company (who we admire), and she wears a black ceramic Chanel watch – and she is a leader in style.

Ceramic for its Properties

Ceramic comes from the Greek word "keramikos", which means 'of pottery', or baked clay. Ceramic is a hard wearing material, which is scratch resistant and very lightweight, and therefore can be used in many applications (other than kitchen tiles), e.g. space shuttles.

Ceramic for the Wealthy

Ceramic watches were first launched in 2000 by Chanel, under the guise of the J12, and these watches were an instant success. After 2005, Chanel upped the ante, by introducing diamonds, a tourbillon mechanism, along with many other experiments for moving forward and breaking new ground.

In saying that, whilst the Chanel ceramic is the benchmark in the watch industry for use of this material, you do spend a number of £’000’s to have such a watch, and to be fair, not everyone can afford such luxury.

Affordable Ceramic

A number of other manufacturers produce ceramic watches of high quality at a more affordable price. So Big Watch Company decided to find a brand that fulfilled this niche. We selected the watch brand Roberto Bianci. Roberto Bianci: It offers a white or a black ceramic and uses a Swiss quartz mechanism with a 3 year manufacturer warranty.

These watches will make the statement that you want, and show that you are just as cool and fashionable as the next person. So to look glamorous, you do not have to spend thousands…http://bit.ly/avOFA6.
